Great video! I agree that seeing where the coolant level is a PIA. I have a 2016 with same problem. Could you add a pic of looking down the at the coolant level after the coolant is added to have an approximate level when it is filled. The level compared to the two sensors would be a good frame of reference. Thank you!

i have a 2014 cayenne gts (passed down from father so i don’t know too much about what antifreeze he used), i’m trying to add coolant but there’s still a little left but it’s a different color than the one i’m trying to add (peak violet 50/50) should i drain the coolant or would it be safe to add it on top

You shouldnt mix different types of coolant - it can cause the coolant to turn gummy. If you need to top off add distilled water. If you need to add alot of coolant/distilled water, then drain everything and add new Porsche/Audi/VW coolant, it's usually orange color.

The Color of The coolant is a very emotional discussion in Germany😅. One fact is, that the color is not a sufficient characteristic. You should not mix different colors, but it’s very difficult to get a wrong mix. and you can get the wrong mix if even if you mix same colors. Have fun.😂

Ever find out what was causing your leak?
@SerhansGarage2 ай бұрын
It only leaks when its freezing cold and it's a minor leak back of engine ..whenever I do a pressure test it doesn't leak at all so it's hard to pinpoint where it's leaking From

It's not like you're mixing explosives. You can just add it and stop when you get to the line... it's totally not fussy. Once you get to the line, you can look inside and remember what it looks like... then you could perhaps just fill it up by looking in the hole. Coolant system is a closed system.... if you've got coolant going away then pay attention for drips in your driveway or strange smells. I always read an owners manual and check everything out when i get a new vehicle, so I'd be fine here.. however... good video! Sometimes it makes no sense what engineers do! Horrible Level Indicator location!
