Porsche Cayenne TURBO GT - Sound, Design and Lap on the Nürburgring

The 2022 Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT combines outstanding driving dynamics with a high degree of everyday usability.
Its 640 horsepower (471 kW) 4.0-liter biturbo V8 engine provides the basis for superb driving characteristics.
With 90 HP (67 kW) more than the Porsche Cayenne Turbo Coupé and maximum torque of 850 Nm (an increase of 80 Nm), the 0-100 km/h sprint is reduced to 3.3 seconds (0.6 s less) and top speed is now 300 km/h (an increase of 14 km/h).
With even sportier lines and available exclusively as a 4-seater Coupé, the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT comes with all available chassis systems fitted as standard and performance tyres developed specially for this model. The powertrain and chassis also have a unique set-up specifically tuned for the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT.
The result is a harmonious overall concept with superb racetrack capability. This has been proven by Porsche test driver Lars Kern, who lapped the 20.832 km Nürburgring Nordschleife with the Cayenne Turbo GT in a time of 7:38.9 minutes, setting a new official SUV record.
The Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT is available to order now and will roll into dealerships in mid- September 2021. Prices in Germany start at €196,078 including VAT and country- specific equipment.

@J1420 0545 to each his own. No other car company on this planet has a wheel selection like Porsche, they of course have center lock wheels from factory as well. I’ve never seen aftermarket wheels on a Porsche simply because they have so many types. You’d be a fool to do that.

This SUV is lower than it looks. I drive the GTS CAyenne and this is 7mm lower. This also comes standard with PDCC (Porsche dynamic Chassis Control), sport Chrono pkg, Porsche Torque Vectoring. So this just sit on the road and corner like a beast very little body roll i would expect if any around corners.

Don’t get me wrong it’s a beautiful car , I’m sure it handles amazing but…. when you install a roll cage it completely changes the way any car drives. No wonder it feels very responsive and agile due to the added rigidity. it’s for safety purposes no doubt. Not a fair shake if you ask me.

Die wichtigste Frage zu den meisten Kommentaren, so wie deinem hier, lautet wohl eher: warum haben sie hier so vielen so dermaßen ins Hirn geschi...en?? Was man hier in kürzester Zeit an geistigem Dünnpfiff lesen muss, macht schon sprachlos. Nun zu dir hier: Bei 200.000 Euro Kaufpreis werden ganz bestimmt nicht "Alle" mit einem Cayenne Turbo GT auf deutschen Autobahnen fahren. Du kannst deswegen ganz beruhigt sein. Und überhaupt: was ist dann also der Unterschied, wenn mich ein mit absoluter Perfektion gebautes Porsche SUV oder ein Porsche 911 mit Tempo 300 überholt? Ich möchte lieber von einem Cayenne Turbo GT Coupe auf der Autobahn überholt werden, als vielleicht von einem dieser schrottigen amerikanischen "Performance" Hobel, die nicht mal für Dauertopspeed auf deutschen Autobahnen gebaut sind. Weil bei Porsche weiß ich sicher, dass diese Autos für deutsche Autobahn-Dauertempi ausgelegt sind. Das kann man für andere "high performance vehicle" leider nicht immer behaupten.
