Actually i had to use 1st gear at all the hairpins to get the tail to come out more easily. I guess i could have used second gear but i had to get on the gas much earlier, which i did not have the courage to do so

Hi I see you have experience in both the 996 era and this era. If I already have a 996 GT3, would you add a 996 GT2 or this GT4 RS as a second sports car? I'm trying to decide.

Man that’s a really tough question! I think it depends on what type of experience you are looking to explore on top of the 996 gt3. The 996 gt2 is fundamentally very similar to the gt3 but with the turbo power that allows you to provoke oversteer all the time. The gt4rs is a different level of performance from the 996. It will make your gt3 feel like jello but it is also void of feel and rawness when compared to the gt3. Sure the intake noise is exhilarating, but it feels engineered. The gt4 rs is not at fun on public roads and need proper roads or circuits for it to be enjoyable. If i had the money, i would sell gt3 and buy both the gt2 and the gt4rs

@@FizzyMotors Thanks for this! Yeah I think the decision comes down to if I want to step into a modern Porsche. I know from a performance perspective it's leagues above (which I like). I drive only fast touge and track (similar to what I saw you drive on in your mountain videos). The 6GT3 is amazing and TBH I'm not selling this. I've put a lot of energy into it and it's very well sorted (6GT3RS wheel uprights, kinematics, suspension, exhaust, Cup final drive) and it's just amazing. I may just enjoy this car through touge roads and buy a modern Porsche for its track performance. I do like turbos too... hmmm... unfortunately cannot afford 991 GT2RS. Tough choices!!!

Your mic set up is great which a lot of POV vids lacks. You could do even better by putting one beside the exhaust and another for your mouth.

Lol actually all the sound you hear is from the “insta360 go camera”. I just had to edit the EQ to make it sound better. Otherwise it sounded pretty crappy originally. I try to have fun on my trips instead of focusing too much on filming. Also dont like having my friends having to wait for me while I set up mics and cameras, so i just use the simplest set up possible. Thanks for the advice anyway
