It's a Bandit 1250S (1255cc liquid cooled). With good tuning, it makes bags of torque and about 130 rwhp. It's not a top speed bike but does pretty well. It'd stomp most things until about 130 mph.

It's not that simple man. The B1250 would eat any 1,000cc superbike for breakfast up to 120 mph, especially below 80 mph. When the Bandit makes 80 ftlb at the wheel at only 3,000 rpm, reaching a peak of 95 ftlb at 6,000 rpm, that equates to about 40 mph in 1st gear. What all of this means is that when a liter bike is smoking it's clutch trying to get off the line, the Bandit is FLYING away from a stoplight already heading toward 100 mph. All depends on what speeds you wish to "eat breakfast" at. The 1250 makes heaps of smooth, turbine-like power when tuned, and weighs about 540 pounds with exhaust and battery mod, over 50 pounds less than the ZX-14R.

I've got a 1250FA - never maxed it out, I realize the speedo is out by a margin of around 7-10% So by my shit maths, the chap in the vid is doing an actual 150mph(ish) from a stock bike? Impressive from what many would say is one of the most boring bikes around.

how did you hit 250kph? my factory spec bandit s flats out 180+ at top 5th gear at around 8k rpm never reaches redline in fifth gear..did you change the muffler? did you shave the cylinder head?

probably because rf is liquid cooled like a proper fast bike should be...air cooled engines simply cannot be squeezed like liquid cooled ones because of the tremendous amounts of heat they make as a result of more power..

Leandro Piloto Nem quero! Boa moto, mas ultrapassadíssima. Já acelerei contra Bandit 1200, não ganhei, por pouco, mas fiquei atrás. Eu estava com minha moto toda original(FZ6) a 235 e a Bandit do cara marcava 250, pode isso Arnaldo? E outra, essa moto é fuçada. A Bandit 1200 que acelerei contra,sobe muito devagar depois dos 240 no painel, e segundo sei, ele nunca passou dos 250 no painel com ela, creio que no painel vá até 260, mas é algo em torno dos 240/245 reais.

Rodrigo Pereira Um amigo meu tem uma GSR 750, pegou recentemente, fomos acelerar e ele perdeu, ele a 246 e eu a 240 e ultrapassava numa boa. Acho que minha moto mente pra menos, porque ultimamente não tenho conseguido passar de 242 no painel, mas mesmo assim não perdi pra nenhuma GSR 750 ou Z800. Procure nos meus vídeos.

A gsr perto de uma bandit 1200 é fraca !!! A bandit 1200 tem 122 cv na roda e 13 kgf de torque ou seja mais troque que qualquer superespirtiva 1000 , alem do mais é sabido que a 1200 da pau em z 1000 , cb 1000 , z800 ou qualquer outra naked 1000 , basta uma rapida pesquisa no youtube cb 1000 x bandit 1200
