Porcha handled herself with dignity and class throughout this interview. She could have delt with that Wendy situation in some many negative ways but instead she decided to remain a lady and give a very poised and intelligent response. For that Miss Porcha I have a new found respect for you girl. Focus on your career and the rest will fall into place, stay encouraged and no matter what happens know that God is watching...

+Latoya Pope Porsha isn't saying anything new that we haven't heard about Wendy. The issue is, what did Porsha do to bring herself on Hot Topics to become a target. Porsha's stupidity brought her to Hot Topics and Wendy can't pass up dirt on someone. We all knew this before Porsha came along.

+Albert Jannette Beauty can get you in the door, but them what? No substance, no intelligence, violent, no self respects, no values. Always on her back for money, cars and bags. I really doubt that Wendy cares about Porsha's looks. It's her stupidity and nasty behaviors that's earned her a spot on Wendy's Hot Topics and walk of shame. Wendy doesn't discriminate. Ugly or pretty, you do something messy and you will be on Hot Topics, so can we please move on with the looks thing. Wendy wouldn't have anything to say if it wasn't out there already. That's Porsha's fault, so let her take responsibility. Let her finally grow up and have some common sense and develop some critical thinking. There will always be consequences to every action. She hasn't learned that yet and she's in her 30's. There is something really wrong with that in this stage of her life.

I think what she ment and every "pretty" girl/woman has delt with this so we understand one another ..Women will hate on each other instead of showing love .. they try to find flaws n bring someone down ... n when u gotta bring someone down that means its because they r on top. I respect her for saying what she said about wendy its true wendy has always made money off dirt but oprah does the same but brings importance or a lesson to be learnt. Women need to share on whats important in life . the older you get the more u see who is grown n who has learnt. This girl is far from dumb n the only reason she attacked that chick was because she provoked her... egged her on to do it .. in the end she realised ok I see what you were trying to do u egged me on n I took the bait with my emotions shes human but shes smart because she came back after she realised and saw what was going on..its business n two can play but u see this all the time the pretty ones r the ones who get bullied .. like with lil kim n nicki M lil kim wants to feed into the fuel that fires u up emotionally n she took the bait now she looks dumb n nicki knowing whats what sat back n kept on saying I have nothing but respect for lil'kim I don't need to get into that im better then that...same old fire just new faces .. women gotta stop hating on one another n just cause a woman is beautiful don't mean we don't have the same issues as the rest we are all women... for some reason people think oh your pretty so u don't work hard u got everything giving to you...blah blah instead of thinking hey lets look at what we all got in common instead of looking for the flaws n cracks

You will be baited and provoked everyday. Its your responsibility to control how you react to it. You will never be able to control what another person says or does. Physical violence is never an appropriate reaction. Maybe it is "acceptable" in the streets or WSHH, not on national television. This is a prime example of when keeping it "real" goes wrong.
@kiralynae6998
@kiralynae6998 10 жыл бұрын
J Lew While I agree that violence should not be a solution, you cannot reprimand people for resorting to it. Think of all the bullies who leave their victims alone after they loose a fight or are threatened to fight. Unfortunately in our culture physical violence and aggression equates power and respect. I bet you Kenya won't bother her again.
@RoyalAbundance
@RoyalAbundance 10 жыл бұрын
I'm not reprimanding anyone, the law does that. All I'm saying is that you can't physically assault someone on national television and not expect to be held legally accountable.

J Lew That's what you're saying now. Before you were putting the blame on Porsha. All I'm saying is that aggressors make you retaliate, be it vocally or physically, and in those moments it is difficult to restrain yourself and respond in an "acceptable" manner.

Wendy did try and build you up. She said move out your moms house get an apartment and a job and get off reality tv, stress to the judge that you he didn't want you working so you can receive alimony, stop buying shoes when you have no real stable income she says. YOU DID NONE OF THAT. You got nothing from your divorce, The judge probably saw you as someone who doesn't wanna do for themself said this will make her grow up. She would probably spent all the money if he settled at once in 2yrs.

Porscha sometimes come off as a little airy but she is a smart beautiful woman who is classy, positive, and just had a rough time with the wrong man. Women get into bad relationships all the time and do worse actually and still love and defend a no-good guy. She is learning from some of the mistakes she mad and thats all that matters.

Wendy tried to be supportive of Porsha in the past - when Kordell filed for divorce, Wendy recommended to Porsha that she do three things - 1) get a small one bedroom place in downtown Atlanta and live within her own means (which Porsha didn't do) 2) that she grow up (after the reunion fight I think we can agree that Porsha needs to spend more time in this arena - even though I think she was indeed provoked by Kenya) and 3) talk with Andy Cohen about signing on for an additional 2 years of RHOA (and from the rumors out there, it looks like she's off the show now). So Wendy tried to be supportive but when Porsha did the opposite of what Wendy thought was right, Wendy felt as if she was justified in saying Porsha was "less than smart" However I do enjoy Porsha and think she is a nice person.

I like Porsha on the show RHOA and she is great on Dish Nation, but I was disappointed when she didn't seem to know her history. Especially since she comes from a family that were deeply involved in civil rights movement. I'm not black or American, but even I know what the UG Railroad was and about the way their maps were on blankets and they had to look out for certain patterns to show them that they were in a safe place. It's a shame that she comes from such a pedigree and has more than likely been privately educated, but yet she doesn't seem to educated at all. She only has a limited amount of time that being young and hot will get you by, but eventually as Judge Judy say's 'Beauty fades, dumb is forever'. I believe that with her talent for entertaining, that if she educated herself some more academically she could shoot to the stars. She comes from a fortunate background and has a good family name being the Granddaughter of Hosea Williams so she has a strong advantage right there, but with her looks combined with brains she could be super successful in anything she chooses to do.
@pams5418
@pams5418 8 жыл бұрын
+Lisa Mc10072 That's been my biggest issue with Porsha from the start. It annoys me to see that she focuses too much on her looks and not on educating herself and combining the two. I completely agree with you. I was really troubled by the UG railroad thing. To me that just turned me left. It isn't acceptable to not know this given her hx and family background. When people from other cultures know more about her hx you need to step back and really evaluate oneself as to why you don't know. All I can think of is that she had no real interest in her grandfather's struggles and only concerned herself with her looks. However, when she wants special treatment or positions, she uses her grandfather's legacy to get it. Very self serving. She said the year had 260 days in it. I mean it just makes no sense. This is primary school stuff. She is pretty, but as Judge Judy would say, having a bucket of rocks for brains is just scary for a woman in this generation. She has mugshots at her age for things that could have been avoided if she had any self control and didn't act out of impulse. She needs to mature.
@Whoa_Lisa
@Whoa_Lisa 8 жыл бұрын
Amen to that. I get she is young, but damn her grandfather would be turning in his grave. I also agree she throws her heritage around when it suits her. But what does she know about the civil rights movement? I would say little to zero. She has a plaform to do so much good, but to not know how many days in the year there are wtf? Girl go get educated.
@pams5418
@pams5418 8 жыл бұрын
She's not that young though. She should have a certain level of common sense most people have by early 20's. It's almost as if she fell of the face of the earth. I know that if any culture, let's say Jews for an example had a young woman although pretty had no clue about the struggles their grandparents went through and murders committed by the hands of the Nazis, it would be a disgrace. It's significant and what makes them who they are today in many ways. It's what helps to understand why they do what they do and why they are who they are in this generation. How can Porsha even be with a man from her own culture when she doesn't understand anything about it or know anything about it, really. Other cultures seem to know more about it than her. On the surface everything is cool and fun but, what happens when something serious affects them. Racial issues arise everyday. How will she give them strength to face it and solid advice when she doesn't understand it or how it affects the psyche. How long will she be the walking and talking mouth piece for everyone else's thoughts and not her own. It would be as if you had no one there to help. They would have to seek someone else to help deal and that isn't a good place for a wife to be in. Just saying. She doesn't seem to understand how to conduct herself in difficult situations and be effective despite what's going on around her. That's why it's been so easy for Kenya to get at her. Kenya has been able to pass beyond looks and use her brains to affect her, and the more Porsha becomes violent and crazy, the more she loses self respect. People like Wendy prey on weakness and has a show to run and will make her a laughing stock if she doesn't get together. She adds to Wendy's ratings. That's it. Wendy has moved on.
@Whoa_Lisa
@Whoa_Lisa 8 жыл бұрын
You're right actually she's in her 30's and what you said about Jewish people really resonated with me. It's so true. If anyone who was Jewish didn't know about the holocaust it would be a disgrace. I am from Northern Ireland originally, but now I live in England and have done since 79 when I was about 6-7 yrs old. I know quite a lot about the oppression of the Irish and I grew up in England with an English mother. My father was a catholic from Northern Ireland and they met in England when tensions were running high and Northern Ireland was on the brink of civil war. They got married and then moved over there. My mother had to leave for her own safety and took her children with her. I arrived in England as child to a country that believed No Blacks, No Irish and No Dogs! I remember that clearly. I remember ads in the paper or shop windows stating a' Blacks and Irish Need Not Apply'. Now I wasn't brought up in a privileged background and I didn't go to private school, but damn it I know my history, both English and Irish and I'm proud of them both even if they are at odds with one another. But times are changing and it is nowhere near as bad as it used to be after The Good Friday Agreement. Now if I know that much how could she not know what the UG Railroad was, it's almost a sin You were right when you said that smart women such as Kenya will always best her in an argument because she doesn't know how not to give her power away. She allows people to wind her up, she turns violent because she doesn't know how to deal with a situation where someone else is controlling and manipulative. She turns to violence because she has allowed the other party to wind her up and she can only deal with it with violence and rage, not realising that she has now lost. Kenya is as messy as hell, but she is smart and funny. I do enjoy RHOA, it is my guilty pleasure. In fact I love the RHOBH and RHNYC too.
@Whoa_Lisa
@Whoa_Lisa 8 жыл бұрын
Pam S I salute you. You are very knowledgeable in these matters. I knew that the Irish came of one ship and believed that they were entering the new world, only to be shoved on to another bound for civil war in the south. I didn't know about the women being sold into the white slave trade. I know that they were despised by almost every country they entered in an attempt to escape famine (holocaust). They endured diseases and hunger to make to the America's, only to be greeted with hostility and more poverty.

I stopped watching Wendy's show a long time ago because I felt like I was watching an old lady sitting in the window watching and gossiping about people. It's silly. Porsha started the riff with Kenya the first season they were on RHOA by delving in Kenya's personal life over a lunch meeting making judgment because Kenya wasn't married nor had children. Posha MAY have unintentionally insulted Kenya because Porsha is very child-like and not too bright...bordering "slow". Tthat was the start of the issue between them. Kenya looked passed it and showed up to Porsha's charity event anyway where Posha devalued and disrespected Kenya's accolades on stage. Again...it could have been innocent because Posrsha is questionably "slow". Kenya, by this time, was ready to go. Porsha followed her outside and argued with Kenya instead of simply apologizing. That was the start of their issues. Kenya started firing off on Porsha for every stupid thing she says and Porsha always refers to Kenya as having no man. Well Karma came back on Porsha...BIG TIME. She's manless AND penniless...and still "slow". Kenya didn't come for Porsha initially. Initially, the judgment was coming from Porsha onto Kenya the first season they were on the show because Porsha perceived she was in a better position than Kenya being married to a Kordell and living in a mansion and "having it all". Now Kenya fires off on her...and rightfully so. It's too easy. Posha gives everyone plenty of ammunition to call her "less the smart".

Porsha is definitely a bit "unique" & I use that term "loosely" ..but @least she's strong enough to not allow ppl's opinions to change who she is as a person , nor does she conform to other pplz perceptions, she authentic...I think she handled both interviews "maturely" & didn't fuel the foolishness or participate with Wanda or Wendy...I understand drama sells ..But there has to be a special place in hell , for ppl who always want to tear others down..She comes across as genuine., that within itself will take her far..I commend her for being grounded & "mature" about opposition..that within itself is far from being "less than smart" that's a rare quality ...Porsha will go far for the mere fact that she is humble :)

I only know Porsha through hearing about her through the gossips on television. And I remember when Wendy said what she said about her. I am a Wendy fan, that's my girl. But it was wrong of her to say the things she said. She had no business saying those things. That was just wrong and I'm sorry she said them. I had never heard Porsha speak but on this show, she was articulate and spoke beautifully in answer to Wendy's criticisms. Porsha spoke intelligently and handled herself like a class act. She said the right things. I think Wendy owes her an apology.

She is as interesting as drift wood, she is ignorant. Wendy, says things as she sees it, it may be harsh, but their actions justify the call out. If the truth hurts, then stop behaving in a certain manner. Her integrity, my ass, see what her views about gays really says. She backpedaled but it already was said.

Porsha is true to herself, and she don't need a reason go below the belt, like Wendy have done so many times before. It's no reason for anyone to disrespect another woman, especially when a black woman disrespect each other! Regardless of Wendy's opinion of Porsha, it just shows ignorance every time she opens her mouth!!!

I love Wendy- it's just what she does. I actually miss the old radio show wendy who used to really go in. I remember when she called somebody (I think it was Kanye) a stupid donkey. Can't wait to see what she got to say to Evelyn L. - she's probably trying to find a pair of those boots so she can wear them and act like her husband bought them for her.

Porsha knocks down women as well. Remember "Bye Ashy?" I'm tired of Porsha playing the victim. She's not a hothouse flower, nor a withering socialite of the 1890's. A modern woman needs an intellect. Not just a fat ass and pretty face. Beauty fade, brain power lives forever.
