Port Douglas is a town on the Coral Sea in the tropical far north of Queensland, Australia. It's known for its beach resorts and as a base for visits to both the Great Barrier Reef, the world's largest reef system, and Daintree National Park, home to biodiverse rainforest. In town, Macrossan Street is lined with boutique shops and restaurants. Filled with palm trees basking in sunlight and the African Mahogany trees that light up the street coinciding with Port Douglas’ nightlife - Macrossan Street is nothing other than Port Douglas’ magic. Macrossan Street is a hive of activity due to its proximity to popular accommodation providers, clothing and souvenier boutiques stocking everything from flip flops to bathers, cafes and restaurants and shopping centres so you can pick up the necessities.
