I got it enabled .. thanks.. You say ur camera is Hik vision CCTV and say you need 80,8080 and 443 to be enabled and generate also a MAC ID (eg: 00:00:5e:00:53:af)and you can mix TCP or UDP ports.. They will decide what ports they will map and will map it to your internal network (in cochin atleast). You can change the ports to run any devices later by changing it in modem ..But dont expect it to be saved later . they can change anything because modem is remotely controlled..but better than no access. I got another IP address like shown in video Thanks for the video..The guys doesnt know what is happening. You have to fool them sayign web

1. its in the back of the router 2. You can't do that in jio fiber in "the normal way" but you can acess that using jio home app Actually you can by changing your routers firmware to the previous version in which we were able to use it like that.

The port is not opened on JIO .. Call jio with some camera name and say opening DVR or CC TV camera ports..The customer service doesnt know anything about Ports. You have to given them a camera model name port number to be opened and say you know to configure the network in Lan. Its stupid customer care who doesnt know what is ports and if you say VPN or webserver they will say we dont support as a standard answer because JIO people are all useless unless u speak to backend people who knows technical.

for Internal network you don't need port forwarding. See many tutorials available in you tube for HDD connect with USB port of modem.

No need to raise any complaints to Jio if you are using a standard service port like 21 for FTP or 22 for SSH etc. In my case, it is working directly. You just have to login to router, go to firewall settings, add a new service like SSH, select always allow and type the ip address where the service is running on local machine. Also do the same thing in port forwarding section if you are using ipv4. I would recommend to use either ipv6 address or buy static public ipv4 address from jio, as it needs to be unique if you want to access it from outside.

Jio don't sell static IP, I called them and they said that according to their network policies they don't sell static IP to home users because of this I re-subscribed my local ISP's broadband service and paid 2400 upfront for static IP 'cause they also don't allot dynamic public IP and they put non-static IP users behind CGNAT.

Bro DDNS services ain't gonna work in modern day broadband. The reason is ISPs started putting us behind NAT (known as CGNAT) which restricted our router to getting a dynamic public IP, instead of getting public IP we got private dynamic IP, and the public IP we see on what is my IP is now shared b/w more than 1 customer. Just like our local devices, we are connected to a different router and our router works as a local device for that router.
