My Maw Porter lived across from the Wallace. Dad and uncles took me there as an eighteen year old for a drink. Never been afraid of a pub since! Bill P.

That old pic of the Wallace bar in parkhill took me bk years John it put a tear in ma eye for growing up a cross from it and playing outside it most of ma life that was the good old days fra wee Toddy Rodger av still got all the memories .Celtic fc come on the hoops

Wow. Great piece of work John. I'm a quarter Rodgers from Donegal. I'm not from Port, the old fella is. He went to Boglestone Primary. Hopefully he'll get on the facebook page as I notice he has a laptop, though his disability must limit his use.
