Lots of great information on Barbados. Will be visiting in November on a cruise. What interest most was Black Pirate Party cruise. I was in Barbados 45 years ago and it looks like I did that. And, it was a blast!

This was great. I loved the original video with the pirate ship. It appeared the rum punch would slap you around. BTW I watched some older videos. I loved both of your covers of "Crazy". You are both talented.

Thank you guys for your continued Port Guide series. Wife and I enjoyed watching Barbados and St. Kitts while enjoying a big ole Philly cheese steak from Jersey Mikes subs. Yum. On our future 10 nighter in 2021 (God willing all this stuff happening now is behind us) , they are on the itinerary for the Sky Princess. Love your channel, getting caught up on cruise and travel vlogs while hunkered down here in Central Jersey!!

I go to the boatyard everytime! Its 5.00 over and that's it then 25.00 to get on the boatyard. That includes your ride back to ship! Included in the 25.00 is a snorkel excursion. They run on a schedule and it takes you to 2 places. Also theres a water park to slide down or jump on and a rope swing . Great food( highly suggest the wings) bucket of beer is cheap too. And on top of that FREE YES FREE SHOTS! YOULL HEARA HORN SOUND... then you go to bar and open your mouth! Theres a few different shots premade and they free pour it to all! Yummm. Lounge chairs and umbrella is also included and theres always a guy in a boatyard shirt to help you!there are a few locals that come around to sell jewelry and cool stuff. Have bought jewelry everytime( anklet) and great quality. Great fun!

Just watched this video. We did the Atlantis Submarine in Hawaii (Hilo). They have it on several of the islands so when you go you could try it there. Ours went down 106 feet. We saw two sharks lots of different coral and fish. My husband is 6 foot and he didn't have any trouble with it. You sit on seats going down the middle and kind of lean over to look out the porthole, so the taller you are the more you will have to bend. It is a great short excursion, leaving time for more exploring.
@parodeejay4 жыл бұрын
That sounds awesome! I always worry with being to tall for those submarines, ha ha. But we might have to give it a try eventually!! :D

For the Harrison Cave tour, you get in an open truck/bus and they drive you thru the cave. It was actually kind of nice. I remember you had to pick out a helmet and they gave you a paper napkin for protection between your head/hair and the helmet. Perhaps the helmet part has changed as that was a while ago.

Heading back to Barbados 🇧🇧 on the Freedom of the Seas in December 2021. First RCCL cruise. Did a similar itinerary on the Carnival Fascination and it was the BEST! Would love to see a similar video on St. Lucia! Love your vlogs. 😊

Barbados is the starting point for two British cruise lines - Marella and P+O. Both fly cruisers into Bridgetown from the UK. My cruise gives me a day on the island before we set sail so need to decide what to do. A mile is not that far to walk but hopefully P+O will put on a shuttle bus into town.

can you use a birth certificate to get off ship to tour?
@parodeejay2 жыл бұрын
Birth certificate is typically fine for US citizens, as long as your cruise starts and ends at the same port. You just take your cruise card and photo ID off the ship with you for a tour. We always travel with passports just in case, for our own peace of mind though!!

Cruising is not the best way to see Barbados. The system seems set up to extract money as efficiently as possible. Staying for a couple of weeks in a low cost hotel or guest house is much better-and ask the locals about what to do/where to go. The local people are the biggest plus
