True! Part three of our current Freedom Of The Seas series is a complete walk around of the new Nassau port, but some of that footage probably needs to be worked into an actual port guide in this style!! :D

Blue Lagoon Island is my favorite sport on the entire planet- highly recommend! Thanks for the video, love the series! I stayed at the comfort suites on Paradise Island and yes you can use all of the Atlantis facilities. It was great- really cute hotel too.

We were just in Nassau in December. We went to Junkanoo beach and had an amazing time. We were able to snorkel quite a bit and my son and I got to see an octopus just off the cement pier, it changed colors and then swam away. It was amazing. I wish I had seen this video prior to us going, it is very informative. Thanks!

Hello, if you are ever in Nassau and want to swim with the pigs, since it takes a long time, do a cruise that either stays overnight or stays till late at night. We did Blue Lagoon on our October 2019 cruise on Carnival Liberty, we did all the free things like swimming and the food. We did walk to the area with the gift shop and the swimming with the dolphins and it was super nice over there. Oh, BTW this is Traveling with Hayden but on my computer account!

I was wondering if you might have an updated Port Guide for Nassau since upgraded the cruise port. Also do you have Progreso (Yucatán) &/or West coast Mexico Port Guides. I enjoy watching you Port Guides, very useful information.

@parodeejay4 жыл бұрын
Ah, I thought we said at the end of each video, but I may have missed one, ha ha... perfect score is a 10 and would be something like a private island, say Half Moon Cay or Princess Cays where food is included and there's a ton of stuff to do. :D

Thanks for another great video - we have been quite a few times to Nassau and agree about the BCH - with all that construction in the area, we'll just wait to end up over that way when it is all complete. Now I know where the Queen's Staircase is - never ventured over there - TIP....great authentic Greek restaurant (upstairs) at Bay/Charlotte Street - we stopped there in 2018 - OPA!........:)

I I think we have been to Nassu about the same number of times that you have. Unless one books a tour to Atlantis, to me that is a one and done experience. We have walked to Junkanoo Beach and used the facilities and it is FREE! That said one does pay for a lounge and an umbrella, but they are cheap!

I’ve gone to Nassau on 6 out of the 8 cruises I’ve been on. Never really got a chance to shop because although I’m not bother by it the vendors constantly shouting about hair braiding and taxi rides freak my kids out lol I’m good at saying no thanks and ignoring them. Hopefully I can venture out. Agree with going with a group when walking to the Queens Staircase.

Oh my goodness! I LOVE Dee's piggytails!! SO CUTE!! I laughed at Dee's saying "bring the snacks along anyway"! That's totally my strategy (don't take only fruit though). Thanks for this great port guide. We haven't ever been to Nassau and don't even have it on our itinerary on our future 9 cruises we have booked. T he swimming with the pigs area intrigues me, but I wonder how much pig poop there would be there, as well as that I have seen someone getting bit by the pigs there. I probably would look into that Comfort Inn deal if we go there. Someday we'll get there!! ❤️

@@parodeejay - yeah, the manure never seems to get into those lovely advertisement for the horse rides! Actually I am doing a horse ride with our daughter in Aruba coming up in October and I'm really looking forward to it. It's not one that goes into the water though, which is fine by me!! 🙂

Great video! But I am very selfish and I would love for you guys to go on a Disney cruise. I was directed (while watching KZbin on my television) to a video of a vlogger taking his first Disney cruise. It was interesting because of all the activities and interaction with Disney characters. However it was kinda boring and all I could think of was how amazing it would be to see Dee and Jay on a Disney cruise interacting with Mickey Mouse and company......it would be fabulous!! So selfishly I hope you guys can go on a Disney cruise really soon!
