Port Hughes - Yorke Peninsula / South Auistralia

Port Hughes is located on the Yorke Peninsula overlooking Spencer Gulf. It is an easy two hour drive from Adelaide with the nearby town of Moonta Bay not very far away. There are two Caravan Parks at Port Hughes and for this stay we chose to stop at the one known at Port Hughes Tourist Park (South Beach). This Park offers great sea views overlooking Spencer Gulf, which the main newer and larger Park doesn’t offer. It is only a very small Park so bookings would be advised for stays in any of the peak periods throughout the year.

Mick & Sally - Thanks for the great videos. My mother's family is from this area - good to see it again. Mick - regarding your injury: I had an identical injury to the same finger about two years ago, caused by a fall after a severe unexpected cramp to the left calf muscle. Like you, I went to hospital where they "popped" it back. A dislocation like this does stretch all the architecture of the hand and I had a small floating bone chip in the knuckle. As I am an amateur muso, I did not want to lose function from this finger. I had hand therapy (consider it). Function of the finger has now returned to normal, there is only a slight swelling below the knuckle. Please make sure you get adequate medical follow up for this "simple" injury.
