It's pretty clear that prey isn't being delivered often enough at this nest. You'd think that mom osprey wouldn't sit there and eat half the fish thus making the bonking a lot worse. The second that she started eating it herself he turned and ran straight at his sibling and started attacking.

Unfortunately Nature can be cruel. I've only watched this nest last season and Oslets seem to be aggressive at this nest. I agree that food supply isn't ample enough for all, and you'd think right on tHa Ocean there'd be plenty. Papa Osprey brought parts of fish at some feedings. I'm not sure about Mama Osprey, but I do know that if there's not enough food supply with Black Stork's nest for Storklets, Mama BS will start brood reduction (infanticide) so tHa bigger Storklets can have a chance. And also she'll eat tHa food before babies can to ensure her survival.

Daahir jimcaale dhegataag. This mom is very crazy. Where are the rest two babies. In the food distribution the black stork is better than the dam eagles. Only gets the whole food delivered.

This is horrible. The two smaller ones not fed are like WTF, we're hungry too 😢
