Those tails are flippin’ massive! They look so disproportionate to the bodies. But it adds to the overall variety.

Tail tails for sure but relatively flat side to side. They look like they might be good for propulsion, but paleontologists argue about just how functional they are; par for the course for the controversial spinosaurus.

The Hapi skin looks really good in this sandy beach environment. I find myself indecisive what skins to use for Spinosaurus in particular: despite them all looking great, they seem very much inspired by their physical environment. The Tawaret skin wouldn't feel right in this habitat, because it's not muddy enough

Ah, you guessed why I picked it. lol. They do all look very good. The pair with "scutes" (or are they feature scales?) have high crocodilian energy but no real basis in the fossils AFAIK.

@@dinobob5401 Yeah, it's a part of paleontology that is still so full of assumptions and philogenetic bracketing. Even with some like T.rex and Psittacosaurs where partial skin impressions are found, it's not enough to describe the whole animal throughout their entire life, let alone be an indication for relatives.

@@NewAge374 Spinosaurus is practically the poster child for changing interpretations.

Glad you like it! Spinosaurus definitely likes a lot of water.
