I made some chili today. I added black beans and pinto beans. I use oatmeal to stretch the meat. I have been stocking up on canned goods, beans, rice, and pasta. May God provide for all of our needs this year.

Great coverage lady T! Also to be noted, the 3x rent requirement for potential tenants where a landlord expects a renter's income to be at least three times the monthly rent here in STL Mo since 2020 is making ppl homeless.

Been preparing since 2024. Have everything I need…spices, batteries, food, water, precious metals, medical supplies, honey, laundry detergent, dog food, soap, beauty supplies, etc. I’m ready because I was watching and reading between the lines what was on the horizon early in 2024. Heck just the thought of tariffs had me running to the store and stocking up. I was telling people all last year to start preparing. Instead of people buying worthless Christmas junk for people that don’t appreciate it (like kids) they should have been taking that money and stocking up on supplies. Just bought some seeds to grow vegetables at the Dollar Tree.

Yes, I fast and haven’t felt better. I do the 16:8 fast and drink electrolytes daily. That helps curves your appetite and keeps you hydrated. You can live without food but not water. People need to start fasting because 3 meals a day is going to be a thing of the past with these grocery prices plus Americans can afford to lose some weight.

No stores are over ordering, lol. Typically January is the slowest month of the year. Been in retail all my life for different big box retail stores I've never heard of stores over ordering. It doesn't work like that. The bottom line is profit margin.... over ordering isn't a retail strategy for obvious reasons. But you have the inside scoop from corporate headquarters. Again with the potential union strike.... hasn't happened, no significant shortages so far, but with all these stores over ordering 😂we are good 👍 Big box stores have to be careful in this climate of consumer spending, post the covid era. Inventory control can make or break a store's survivability.

Foreclosures are about to ramp up. A lot of the problem is people don’t want to live below their means. These young people want to come out of the gate having the best of everything..housing, jobs, cars, etc. EVERYONE in there lifetime has had a crappy job (or still does but you stay because you need the money), fu$$ed up apartment in a bad location, paid high rent for a crappy apartment, etc. It’s called life. It takes YEARS to get the stuff you want and it’s later in life. Every generation has had to save money and do without so why can’t these young people. They need to quit going to concerts (Beyoncé, Taylor Swift , Chris Brown, country, etc) going shopping everyday or eating out just because. You will NEVER get ahead spending everything you make. The billionaires keep getting richer while the rest of us keep getting poorer. We the consumers are making these people richer. Why??? Invest that $30 you were going to pay going out to eat, to the bar, etc.
