As far as I can see in every video, extremely high-quality workmanship, attention is paid to every detail. What particularly impresses me is the good arrangement of components. When I build a mono banded or wide banded solid state amplifier, I try to make it work as well as it looks. I take a log of pride in the physical layout, but at the same time making it work as well as possible making sure the input and output is as close to 50 ohms as possible. Gatekeeper is the best hands down .. if it's a gatekeeper amp its a keeper that's for sure .. wish I had the money for just a one pill from the keeper .... God bless

Great 6 pill ported style. Glaid you got a Byrd 43 peak kit. I find it hard to tune without a true PEP meter . I have a nice Byrd 43 line section with N connectors. The only slug I have so far is a 40 Db attenuation slug with BNC for scope and spectrum measurement. It came with a short coax for meter in the box. had that odd Byrd connector right angle type. I have outher meter I use for RF power measurement. I needed a line tap inline . I would like a 2 slug line section but that a bit $$ . I work UHF at times so I use N connectors . My line section rated 1.3 GHZ . which covers 1296 MHZ ham band. I never worked it. I have done 900 MHZ Meshtastic testing. Normally GMRS/ 70CM UHF for me. Finding my M & P coax good for 900 MHZ . For my HF work I just use PL 259. Love them HG MRF 454 ! I fixed a 2 pill with them. was 2SC2290 . A old AB bias Palomar one. Had a bias problem that blew the finals. Open diode on heatsink. With them volt meters inside a amp. keep doing that with them ferrites on leads. I find right at meter a 103 or a 104 disc cap as close to meter as you can get it can also help. Some of them China voltmeters just hate a RF inverament. and some work nice. You do not find out until you try them. Even when you find a good one ,A later bach may be junk. 73

Thanks I wish I would have tried that. I am going to try that with the next one. I love N connectors man I wish we all used them instead because I don't think they would wear out as easy. They are water proof as well from what I under stand. I think I will use all N connectors on my mobile station I am working on. Thanks for your input brother.

This truly is a beautiful sexy looking amp brother. You know all the old school amps came in black and very little color so running the heck out of them was no problem. Now a lot of you amp builder's are making beautiful sexy amps and if I was going to buy one I would have to buy two and order a climate controlled sealed glass case to display one in just because 😁

Real nice,hey rf parts has those real small ferrites technine yousta use!, they fit 18awg wire,good for to that voltage meter, I used to always get those for my amps really awesome, you don't have to wrap them,18 gauge wire hole, really small pretty cool,yeah my favorite,port design(old school 4real lol,reallynic awesome keep em coming!,oh yeah got to have that doorknob cap in there for the output it's the shit! C ya!!!

I miss my Stickman Comp 29….it went thermonuclear a year ago 😢 it’s put up and I won’t let anybody in it because he liked to keep his tune secrets to himself and since he’s gone I’m not gonna be the one to let it out by having someone else go in it. Some may say who cares, but it’s a respect thing

Actually I have.... I have removed thr inside liner completly and now I am about to drill and mount the antenna puck mount which I have never done before. I will be releasing a video on it I can't wait to get on the band brother.

I have still had issues with even clear coating a board and it still oxidizing which was super weird.... IDK if I just didn't put a thick enough coat on or what. It was that last 12 pill I built
