Which reel do you like better? I had the fathom 2 lever but traded it up for the fathom 2 Star drag mainly because of surf fishing.. I'm down here near Wrightsville beach area btw

@@brett7794 I prefer the Torium because of how smooth they are. I like using the Fathom for grouper, big drum and amberjack because it has more drag power.

I anchor out away from the wall, just don't tie off to the wall and they are usually fine with you fishing there.

I prefer 2/0 - 5/0Gamakatsu 4X strong, also 3/0 to 5/0 Mustad Big Gun hooks are solid. Hook the urchin through the mouth (on the bottom) and gently push through the top.

Are you diving for your urchins? I'm thinking I may just dive Radio Island the night before I want to fish with them, but if there's an easier way, I'd welcome that!

You can get them at low tide with a crab net, be careful on them rocks!

Drop it all the way to the bottom, I never suspend the bait when I fish for sheepshead.

You have to anchor, they will run you off if you tie up.
