Definitely destined to become a family heirloom! At times I thought I was looking at a magicians box and was expecting to see fly tying tools starting to appear then disappear. Have you considered making one such that you could leave your tools and vise in their place? That would be the ultimate in fly tying furniture. Thanks for posting.

That’s just it.. it’s not useable ,it’s a trinket.where does the vise go ? What the heck are the boards with hollows for? The best fly box is a modified wine case .. that box is for people with 2 much money and no fly tying skills. They say ..hey look what I bought not hey look what I made.

A few major and useless aspects of this tying box. It's more of a visual awe than functionality. Unnecessary hinges and wasted space. Good work though.
