I think people make more of this debate than it is. You can't buy a budget turntable and expect premium sound. But this turntable isn't made for the hard core vinyl fan. It's made for the casual fan or for someone who just wants to try out the road of vinyl LP. When you buy an old used car, you can't exactly expect it to feel like a new car. Maybe you're only a casual vinyl fan and this turntable will suit your needs. But if someone is an obsessed vinyl fan, why would they even think to look at a budget turntable?

There's no debate…It hasn't been all about "premium sound" in a long time ..it's been convenience,new tech showcasing,portability.Overwhelming amounts of people are content to just hear their stuff where ever they are & the competitive snobs are in the minority..it's a personal thing & what you like period.These units would make some people perfectly happy.How many billions of people listen to vids on YT ..come on, it's a couple grades above a transistor radio.I can't stand the Vinyl - hi fi snobs, when they start with it, it's like..really... GTFOOH...

If you can't afford Vinyls, Buy Cd or Pay Spotify. Vinyls are not for casuals, Hipsters and Trendy People

You didn’t really go over the tracking force, or the needle that it comes with. Aren’t those really important for record playing as well?

How do I replace the needle on my record player please help me

Vinyl contains more sound information than a CD but to get that out you have to pay so much more. You are correct about these cheap portable players, they are just not worth it. Thanks for the video.

+Gadget Tube Hey Gadjet Tube. Well, to be honest (without getting into the vinyl LP vs CD vs digital age debate), the CROSLEY is not designed to be a top level turntable for the guy who insists on listening to everything on vinyl LP. It's basically for the casual fan of vinyl LP who doesn't want to spend a lot of money. Obviously, if vinyl LP is your primary musical source, you're going to spend hundreds or thousands on what you consider the perfect turntable. But this is a nice test run for someone to see if the road of vinyl LP is a road they wish to take. You can always upgrade later.

This is how most people listened to records back in the day, through players similar to this.

Is it meant to wobble
@portrait__fashion23536 жыл бұрын
If you are talking about the record wobbling, it’s because it’s warped because it was potentially stored face down. It has nothing to do with the record player lol

They are £39-99 at B&M - called "Intempo" but are identical apart from having a re-chargeable battery, so it is portable. I agree they don"t sound very good - no base, a bit tinny. But not bad for the price I paid.I do have a Goodman"s record player that sounds so much better.

If I would've seen this video first, I wouldn't have purchased it, the sound is totally deception, is awful, but all the reviews I searched said it had a fidelity sound, I believed

I'd say that unit is considerably overpriced. It seems more of a toy. Thanks for the review. I'm trying to find a really good quality USB TT at a reasonable price. Most of them are crap.
@thegadgetdude8 жыл бұрын
Yeah unfortunately the USB ones seem to be all budget players too. I think you get what you pay for with vinyl.

A friend of mine has this Sony turntable which has USB: SONY PSLX300 He said its good but I haven't heard it myself. You'd presume Sony would be ok though.
