whenever i found a puzzle hard i was like "this is impossible" but then when i thought of the solution i was like "this is perfect", the soundtrack actually was so good that i couldnt solve certain puzzzles because i was distracted

@@creepertech9872 I actually have recently. Do you know the "No Elements" series in the Community Workshop? In my opinion, it's the quintessence of portals, and it made me feel like I am really discovering what portals are! It requires you to deeply think about and question what you know about portals and what they can do for you through different points in spacetime, what is available to you with which combination of your location and locations of portals. It's all focussed on portals, and goes as deep as I've ever been. Often you are slowly moving portals through the room step by step, until you have them just perfectly how you need them, while you yourself are moving all over the place. Search term: "steam portal 2 no elements".

I've just finished PS: Mel today. The soundtrack is amazing, it captures the feel of the original perfectly. This particular track is an instant classic in my mind - one of the best in the series. I really hope Valve makes this game canon

I remember I had a bug in my first playthrough that put the game in Advanced Mode instead if Story and I was like "Holy shit this te first test chamber and I've already spent 20 minutes in it, how hard is this game?"

had the same bug, I've played up until Virgil's first Testing Track WITHOUT REALIZING I'M ACTUALLY PLAYNG ADVANCED MODE INSTEAD OF STORY and even then I didn't solve first room in this track properly, I solved it purely BECAUSE BUTTON IN TINY ROOM BUGGED AND GOT STUCK IN PRESSED STATE AND I WAS LIKE 'UM OK? Honestly the only thing I didn't like about this mod was the fact that the tests were so much more complicated. In the originals, you would be slowly introduced to each concept and it would build upon that as you. In this game, it assumes you have prior knowledge of how each element works (Granted most people would), so it just throws all of them at you at once.

This is an amazng soundtrack! My one thought was that it had this slightly sad quality to it- angsty/wistful/nostalgic/anguished- all the time. I didn't think it was necessary, or at least I liked the Portal 2 soundtrack better for it's music that sounded like exploration and not just negative emotion all the time, which keeps the pressure on to escape and prevents you from enjoying the process of playing the game.
