Nurture's sound and message are so comforting, and it was much needed for such a difficult year. As a pianist and musician, I feel there's nothing more rewarding than having someone appreciate and feel your music the same way that you do. It's a level of understanding and connection that articulates something I can never find the right words for. Particularly when I listen to Wind Tempos and the soft piano ballad at the end of Something Comforting, I wonder and hope if others can feel the same way I felt on the nights I listened as I rode the bus back to my apartment. Your Nurture medley was beautiful. I can think of no better songs to end the year with.

What a year! Listening to this made my past year unfold in my mind, a perfect new years melody. Porter was right and I at times doubted: I will be alive next year. Keudae your playing is incredible! You play from such a deep emotional space, yet I can tell you've been trained classically and in jazz. Your ability to take the more structured and refined components of your training and meld them into such a complete spiritual expression through the keys is absolutely captivating. I play the same way you do...through feeling/emotion but I envy your ability. I know what the backside of these videos look like...200 takes with a slight mistake that only you'd notice, but ruins the whole composition in your eyes. Knowing you can get it right...so you record again...over and over lol. I can tell which sections challenged you by your smile when you successfully make it past them. I also know what it feels like when you finally get it all right. 🙂 Please keep playing for us! It's some of the most amazing playing I've ever seen. I can relate so closely to how you play. Keep letting your true self be seen through your music! It's beautiful!

Really value your ability to bring it the intensity up and down when you feel suitable. The notes that you chose to play loud and staccato vs soft and rounded were so interesting at times and brought a lot more emotion to the piece!
