I've heard someone says that white piano keys are for a happy/energic song and black piano keys are for a sad song, but this proves otherwise. love it

it's hard to be THAT specific about black/white keys haha. I think it's more the white keys are edgier and yeah can be happier in that sense (E and B feel up and light) but the flats/sharps soften the keys so they can be prettier but not necessarily sad. Anyway LOL I'm glad all the flat keys didn't make you sad :)

It depends on the key you’re in. Notes only make a “happy” or “sad” sound relative to each other but not if you just play them singularly.
