Despite only being fifteen years old, I have now spent over half my life without a father figure I always wanted to have someone to help me and teach me like you are doing with your kids. But I'm also grateful because I got to learn and experience so many things riding bikes. It is so amazing to see what you do, and your kids will grow up to be amazing riders like you are. Keep up the amazing content :)

I had a dad that was a politician. He was never home. If your kids dont appreciate what they have IN A FATHER in you i dunno what ... maybe my own jealousy at 43... just AWESOME and wow. Its incredible that you get to share your passion with your kids. Good on you for involving your kids in the build process. That's what I've been doing on all our projects at home. Everytime they pitch in, reward them with a brand new quality tool, and slowly build them their tool box that will last a lifetime, along with the skills to use the tools.

I met Eric once and he seemed like a really kind and down to Earth individual, it was cool because I was a young grom and I had seen him in bike videos. I was trying to learn no-foot cans that day, and he kindly gave me feedback to try to raise the odds of me being able to do them. It's awesome to see him now, having evolved into a epic and unique father, with a son who seems like a really awesome soul! Your guys's backyard looks like a labor of love! This video was inspiring!

Those brackets are usually made to be used with framing nails instead of screws. It may now seem like a big difference but nails can handle a lot more shear force than screws which are more brittle. Enough force and that bracket can easily shear the screws.
