Interesting to see how you can transfer strategies from different formats into r40. Very inspiring and a new way to look at the os card pool thank you for making these 🎉

Great choice of topic for this new channel, and well explained. I really liked the "What does the deck have" vs. "What does the deck do"? Any Magic player, or any player of games really, can learn a lot from this. Also, our card pool may be limited, but I bet that there is at least one unknown angle of attack waiting to be discovered in this format :)

There is no doubt in my mind that there are decks yet to be discovered! I have played R40 for over two years now, and there have been several innovations that have stunned me and made me think, temporarily, that they were unbeatable. More will come, and more will replace those! It is an amazing meta.

I‘d love to see your Revised 40 Dredge Version :) When I always build R40 I have one more rule never more than 4 of one card in the common section. Keep your channel up it‘s a lot of fun and hope we see us in the fb group to play a fee rounds 🤙

Ok so re: Dredge. I winced when I said it because I knew someone would request it. Still, a few ideas come to mind! I personally enjoy the 4-ofs because they allow archetypes that would otherwise not exist: tribal, Psychic Venom, land destruction, burn, WW, and “Turn One Terror,” to name some. Further, it was as late as 1996-97 when I would play people who had, I vividly remember, 7 Cloud Elemental in their deck, for example. I can understand someone’s distaste for so many commons, though. Thank you for your time and support!
