Living and seizing to live are imaginary solutions. Existence lies in giving your heart and soul to the ones you love, family, friends, and kindness. This is such a beautiful song. The mood, the haunting emotion of the music is fantastic. Portishead is underrated and doesn't get the love it deserves. Beth's emotive singing bring depth and emotion to every lyric.

Beth Gibbons has a solo album out this year. Kinda folky, really very nice. Well worth checking out. Adrian Utley is a talented geezer. Geoff Barrow doing some really interesting soundtrack work, and his Quakers hip hop album from a few years back is a 100% banger.

If you like Portishead, Shawn, I have another band for you. It's a duo of sound engineers who go by the name of Zero 7. They have various singers with whom they've worked including Sophie Barker and Sia. The style is trip hop/electronica/downtempo. Their first album "Simple Things" is awesome. This song is from that album. This is a performance on a British T.V. show called, "Later...With Jools Holland". The song is called "In the Waiting Line".
