great race. thank you for filming and posting these races - obviously not easy at the current time. i think i have watched all 4 and like Andy's well informed commentary and the interaction with Dan (even though Dan sounded like he was socially distancing from the mic). So many of the BTC folks seem so comfortable presenting and commentating on the videos.

Wow... he won by 0.008 thousandths of a second. That's what you call a photo finish. It would have been nice to see the finish from the side.

.008 "thousandths" is actually .00008. It was just 8 thousandths

GREAT race...why were these races filmed in this way though? The "Corona"? Wouldn't filming on a phone or camera been a better choice? Thanks for sharing regardless.

awesome race, but i am fascinated and a bit frustrated with these camera angles. What was the thought process behind these angles? Is this the type of view the professionals want to watch races from? And with regard to the commentary, could be a lot more "real" discussion about training and the race. Also from a technical standpoint a bit "closer" to the mics for sound quality. I guess having been watching TheAthleteSpecial and TinmanElite obsessively the past few weeks my standards are "high" for camera angles -- especially with people biking and filming, which I think is fantastic -- and "real" commentary and a joy of the sport. This just feels a bit of a letdown. I mean much better than the recent flotrack fiasco but still, confusing choices on several technical levels here from a big time sponsored track team.

Forrest Thank you for your comment. We could’ve easily put together a crew and a high production race. But during this current time the athletes health is most important. We had not even planned to video the race up until the day prior. The only cameras that we had were the athletes gopros that they have collected over the years. Only 50 people were allowed in the venue during the event. Each person was required to get two Covid test in the days prior to the race. (Which would make it impossible for a videographer to get tested with a one day notice) The athletes graciously flipped hurdles over on their side and taped GoPro’s to them and pressed record before their events. I am not sure if you have ever used a gopro but it’s a cheap action camera. Not a professional level live stream camera. This was done so people like yourself to view this race for free. The commentators were Bowerman athletes that were asked to commentate just hours before the race. They’re professional athletes not professional commentators. They used voice memo on their iPhone and wore mask so of course audio is not good how would they know. I think we can all agree things are a bit crazy during this time and I tip my hat to how good this looked with a 24 hour notice and not one single professional videographer there. Also big thank you to the athletes for even going out of their way to set up gopros so that we could rewatch their event. Sorry this did not meet your standards but I am thankful we could at least watch it. :)

@@TalbotCoxMedia Yea Talbot if you had not commented I would have done so. This is bananas good for the time that everyone involved had. Seriously some people just don't grasp the value of free content. This was awesome and please keep doing it. Thanks to everyone and congrats to the athletes for a massive wave of pb's.
