I started buying PLG for myself after a bit of research:
- ethically sourced full-grain oil tanned leather from the US Food Industry= yes, please!
- tumbled pebble leather, not stampled= yes, please!
- YKK zippers= yes, please!
- same leather as used for boots and saddles so it is durable and watertight= yes, please!!

The leather of Sunflower isn't like all the other smooth leathers from PLG, it's in a class of its own & I'm obsessed!

Hello, and thank you so much for your comment/information. I was wondering if the Sunflower might be its own unique leather as it does not fit into the description mold of PLG smooth leathers. I totally hear you, I am obsessed with mine and it has only been a few days.

I’ve been carrying my mini cross-body in Sunflower all summer. I love it! Hope you enjoy your new tote. Also, curious to hear an update once you have used the backpack for a bit. Wondering if it’s uncomfortably heavy. Thanks for sharing.

Hello! I can only imagine how wonderful and broken in your Sunflower mini is by now. Ironically, I have been eyeing the 🌻 leather for awhile now, but held off because it was not pebbled- I feel so silly for waiting now. (I would be happy to provide feedback on how the Tote Backpack breaks in. 😊)

Hello! I like the backpack. There are times I wish it were a tad larger, but I like really big bags. Overall, it is a great leather backpack.
