Yeah Kansas City has been a solid team all season long. With the Portland Thorns not having Olivia Moultrie, and Morgan Weaver hurts their energy a lot. Having Sam Coffey back, but in limited minutes is good because she's an important part of the Thorns mid field. Hopefully they will fix up things before their next home game against San Diego Wave. Also I have been to a lot of Thorns games and what needs to be fixed mainly is turnovers, someone being there when a cross is coming instead of doing nothing, defense still needs improvement as several times their opponents will have too many shots on goal or get close to scoring. Many people have said that they are not impressed by Jessie Fleming and I would agree, and also we have to remember that this is her first season with Portland and so I think if Jessie continues to stay I believe that she would be able to show her talents.

Wow! Posted yesterday but none commenting yet. Let me be the first then! The talents between Thorns and KC are about the same or KC slightly better and home field advantage. KC FC has just dismantled the Thorns offensively and defensively. I don’t think the KC players are that much more skillful with the ball but yet they disrupted Thorns offense strategy if they have one. Smith, Beckie, Fleming…. Didn’t get the sync, rhythm and flow to organize any worthy attack scheme. On other hand, KC offense just attacked almost at will - time and time again they push the ball up fast and strikers run for it. Thorns defense just almost can’t keep it up. So much of those, ball will get in sooner or later. Even labonta, the unlikely player got confidence to get two goals for KC. Meanwhile, the superstar Sophia Smith has to go ALONE to help herself one goal for Thorns. No assist, no decency passing, no noticeable setting schemes for Smith to try anything…. After halftime, things were the same for Thorns. Coaching was incompetent to do any better. Mr Gale’s job, isn’t??? Go Thorns!!!!🌹💖⚽️🇺🇸👍🤩
