PORTO PALERMO - ALBANIA

One of the most interesting places on the Albanian Riviera is undoubtedly Porto Palermo. Under this name there is a charming, rocky cove with a small beach and the fortress of Panormos located on a peninsula (also called the fortress of Porto Palermo or Ali Pasha). In the northern part of the bay there are remains of a Soviet naval base, which was later taken over by the Albanian army.
