Very clear and concise! A helpful follow up would be to portray the same actor /character in poses and expressions that don’t match the reference - because poster design usually requires new images that don’t already exist as photos.

Well Chris is mistaken. Drew has retired and no longer makes posters. And designed posters are not "still a thing". Occasionally we get some specialised ones. But really it is Photoshop all way.
