It's mixed media, as far as I'm concerned. I paint freehand and over photographs, and use photographs for reference when I need to - imagination all the time. You can create disaster or masterpiece either way, but the joy in the creation and the pursuit of excellence is always primary.

Hi Helen ... thank you for your wonderful videos and workshops. You are using a "Detail Blender" brush from the Blenders brushes, but that brush does not come with the Corel Painter 2016. What other option is there for me to do the same in Corel Painter 2016?

+Ruben Edgardo I've noticed a few of the brushes are gone. Maybe some have just been renamed. Maybe I could install the older version of Painter on my other computer and just copy the brushes to Painter 2016. I would try with just one first to see if it works.

You get mad at people who point out the very real fact that rubbing a brush over a photo to change the texture and make it appear as a painting isn't the same as actually painting someone? that's hilarious

painter master?? clone over a photo? Program deserves better than this, awfully done, sorry. Painter 12 is a great program though
