Ben, Its common for Otis to install different displays in the same building. The standard blue lcd display is only capable of displaying letters and numbers while the enhanced digital display can show destination direction and door status as well as current floor. They are used on the designated fire lifts and can also display exit on fire activation and other information. That display would be on the pass / firemans lift for that building.

The glass lift on the outside of the Spinika tower was built by Maspero an Italian lift co and was a standard type of lift.Both lifs run at a slight incline due to the shape of the legs of the tower ,the original internal lift was done by Cotswold lifts and must have been modernised when the tower was refurbished and new resturant put in.

the lift in the flats are the left lift is a 2009 - 1991 Otis 2000vf lift and the right lift is a 2014 otis gen2 lift

why do the otis elevators say "please select youre floor" after it is used twice

Only this Otis voice from around 2003 - 2007 says this (I don't know why, but it makes it more interesting). The older Otis 2000s that have the Otis-Kone voice doesn't and the new gen2 voice doesn't.

it would be nice to see at least some photos of the modernized Marryat Scott lift and of that lift in the tower which never worked. GRRRR annoying like hell they trashed the old Marryat Scott!
