Thank you Tom for another brilliant video. To hear that Pompey got a win without letting in a goal is great news. Despite the rocky start it seems the highlights you showed was Pompey firing on all cylinders in the second half and many more goals could of been had if the ball found the right spot. I'm super happy to see such a great start to the season and hope we go from strength to strength, because if we get promoted we need to come out the gate next season with a very strong start. We looked short in midfield and Vale were the better side in the first half . A word for Sean Ragget , dependable when called upon . Few managers have the ability to change a game at half time but it's looking like John Mousinho has that . Second half we were much better. On the subject of old familiar names I think there's a Colin Garwood super striker scarf hiding in the bottom of a wardrobe somewhere . Great video as usual lads .

That was a great result against a very good Port Vale side. They always looked dangerous, I can't understand why they took off Chislett, he was their best player. what a great video this is tom love it and it was good to see you i may not of got my prediction right and i didn't get both of my goalscorers right but i got the colby bishop brace right which i'm very happy about and i agree with you on joe morrell giving a really good performance and it wasn't too long since you did the interview with him and you had asked him if he feels like the captain without the armband sometimes and now he's the captain until marlon is going to be back playing but it's really nice for him to have a bit of time being captain i'm really happy for him and he didn't get a single yellow or red card today so it's really good for him to have this experience of being captain temporarily until marlon is back in the team and what a comeback for pompey to win 2 nil i thought that the first half wasn't that good but the second half was better than the first half and to comeback in the second half and win two nil and be top of the league is brilliant i've had a great saturday and as always play up pompey 💙

Poor first half but at least we managed not to concede first for once! The thing about this team is that we now are capable of stepping it up when we need to. Like Plymouth did last season. Port Vale are a better team than last season and they weren't bad then so it was never going to be easy.. Once we scored it looked like we would go on and win. I don't care if we finish top. I'd take second now, anything but the shitty playoffs. Last time we were top for this long we fell away after Christmas because we didn't reinforce the squad in January. If we can avoid that mistake again then top 2 is on.

You won’t be surprised to hear that I thought Bobby Madley made the right decision for the pen. Although it might be unlucky, if the ball strikes an arm in the box it’s always going to be given.
