I also couldn't understand why you sat back in the last 15-20 minutes rather than looking to kill the game off. You were in control, and ended up hanging on as a result. We're going down this season, and who knows where it may end. What happens on the pitch is almost inconsequential.

May I suggest this performance and result could be quite useful? The opportunity to revel in the euphoria of a great comeback but also the opportunity for Mousinho and his staff to bring them back down to earth with a thump by showing them the video on Monday morning? It was a terrible start but I felt we would come back from 2 nil down, we've got so much fighting spirit in this team. Only criticisms, we seem to need to concede before we spring into action and need to be more clinical up front. If we just played like that from the start we wouldn't need to keep coming back! It's good that we are capable of going up a couple of gears when we need to. Shame about Reading, but chucking tennis balls is just lame. What did they actually think it would achieve? Their fans need to grow a pair if they actually want to save their club.

Who here is old enough to remember (early 80's? Late 70's?) when Portsmouth were away to Reading and a big number of Pompey fans for some reason decided to walk to the game? I lived near Fleet at the time and along with Farnham and various other places it was sprayed with POMPEY everywhere ! Can't believe they walked from Portsmouth-I know Bordon had a lot of Pompey fans ;along with other Pompet fans (THUGS!!!)- if tiny nearby Aldershot were playing some team they had a gripe with (from Sheffield Wednesday / Carlisle /Blackburn etc they'd come and start rucks that had nothing to do with Aldershot.....all these people must be 60 to 70 by now, I hope they've retired/grown up !!!
