Hello again Kevin! One of our favourite restaurants in Albufeira was Shalom or Shalom 2. Two separate places owned by the same people. If you like barbecue food, ribs etc then you will enjoy the food there. Massive portions. Hope they are still there. Enjoying your Portugal vlogs 👍

Been to Albufeira so many times, really love the place. The square where you met the Irish couple used to be much nicer IMO but that's progress I suppose. So many nice bars in the old town but you have to have a night on the strip, If you get into Albertus say hi to Arthur for me and congratulate him on his engagement, also in Mambos Bruno is the man. Got some amazing memories of Albufeira. Take care stay safe and enjoy yourself.

Wow that looks great and no or hardly any Graffiti. Make sure you put suntan lotion on your ears as my uncle had to have 3/4 of his ear amputated because of skin cancer they left him just enough so he could hook his glasses on.

The old town and seafront is lovely, the strip not so much (but it caters for the stags and hens). Not worth 2.5hrs each way to Seville - do that when you can spend 3 or 4 nights there, same with Lisbon (& Porto) too.

Amazing timing. My husband and me have watched your Tenerife vids with a passion despite never been there we really enjoy your informative vlogs. On 22nd June we are taking our 1st trip abroad, for me, the 1st time ever (I will be 50 Yrs old in Dec) We will be staying 20mins East of Alberfiera 'Olhos D'agua' and staying at The Oceanus Aparthotel however there aren't that many informative vlogs of that town. If you have any spare time and you fancy popping along for a visit and video time we would love to get your oppinion on the area. Enjoy the Algarve and who knows, if you're still in the Alberfiera area around the time of our visit we may well bump into you and say hello. Olhos d Agua' is a lovely little town. Beach is great. We walked back from there in 30° heat. Took us more than 20 minutes. Lol. But ten years ago we walked everywhere.Algarve beaches are the best!👍

Try Praia da oura beach it's not far from where you're staying... one of the best seafood restaurants in the algarve on that beach...

I have stayed at the Oceanus it's a nice hotel, Olhos de Agua is a nice small resort quite hilly though it's not far to the lively strip area of Albufiera in a taxi if you fancy a lively night out.

Portuguese beaches are all good until you put your toes into the Water! You wanted a few walks maybe even nature Walks; 1) Lagos walk to Pointa de Piedade and back; 2) Lagos Walk to Praia de Porto Mos then go West along the coast on the Fisherman's Walk (Trilho dos Pescadors) and back; 3) Portimao from the main beach or Street Overlooking the Breach head west and keep going along the coast to Prainha and back (a few 2m to 3m scrambles not too hard). You will be able to film all the hidden Beaches and coastal features caused by erosion that are world famous in the Algarve and work up some space for more scoff and bier.

@@bertbaxter72 Yes it is, can be cold all year round even in the summer months. All the locals have thin wet suits or wear swim/dive shirts. Have sailed from a few ports on the Algarve and would advise getting a shirt if you plan to swim, surf or even go paddleboarding these help you stay in the water longer. It's not like the Med you are exposed to what the Atlantic conditions are, so some days in summer the water is ok others the temp can be a real shock on the kidneys.

Not to be negative, but I spent around 4 weeks inbetween Albufeira and Lisbon (majority Albufeira though), and I honestly thought it was a dive in the centre / old town, FULL of Drunken & Burnt Brits, just what I saw from spending a fair bit of time there. The centre itself is pretty dilapidated, with no real outstanding architecture, and once again, just rammed with burnt british people getting smashed all day. That being said, Praia da Coelha was lovely & Dos Salgados, i'd just stay away from the main beach near the old town tbh.
