Portugal D7 Visa - Preparing documents for London VFS appointment

put as much paperwork as possible together to take with us to London for VFS to apply for our D7 Portugal Visa, fingers crossed it goes well as we handed over our Passports and Documents, had our photos taken plus electronic finger prints taken. all out of our hands now and told if not heard anything in 2 weeks may all be going well for the first step. later that afternoon to say application has been collected from Portugal visa application centre regards VSF so we think Documents and Passports on way to Portugal. they also asked us if we wanted our passports to go as well? we said yes to stop any delay for them to write to ask us to send them plus we paid the extra to have them courier back to us.

Thank you for the information and we are interested to apply the D7 as well in the UK. Would like to enquire the application must be through the VFS or Portugal embassy in London as I cannot find VFS UK office? 🙄

Good luck, I hope it goes well. I've been living in the Czech Republic but luckily before this Brexit nonsense and have residency and can move about the Schengen area easily. To move here now would be difficult but I think you'll love Portugal.

Inside the UK you can do this with your passport, you will get another one if they loose it. But once you are travelling don´t do it, 🙏. I lived in a terrible lot of places ("older adult"😄), and managend the leap in December 2021. Coimbra is a marvel, I chose in part due to the very high 100 Mbps Internet speed, not available everywhere. I wish you the best luck.Greetings

@@teodoro1007 that's brilliant! It helps to have all theses legal things in place, we found our bank man was so helpful just don't get buy into to many extra offers they try selling as alot of things not needed.

Yes double copies needed at time and again once in Portugal. We also watched good video on Desion portugal what need chatting to his sister, really good ! Only comment noticed is DBS is £20 police check but they for some reason dont except and needs to be police check from one they advice arco ? Cost alot so better be right 🙂
