Unbelievably beautiful at times, downright appalling at other occasions. Life, being this constant flow of conflicting emotions can be quite overwhelming. Its ok to feel like sleeping forever sometimes. Getting rid of the 'void', "the emptiness" can be easier than finding something to fill it. But its also important to remember that by doing so, you would be missing out on a whole spectrum of wonderful things that one can witness by simply enjoying being alive. Finding a purpose for life may seem like such a difficult task that it causes people to overlook one of the simplest answers: To live. To live and enjoy your life so when the time comes for you to "become the light, and finally sleep forever", you "won't be scared, won't defend the things you've done, nor you'll fear him like they do" because you truly enjoyed you ride the best way you could.
