Yes, exploring all of Portugal is amazing. So much to see and do for such a small place.

Wow! Great news for young Portuguese citizens. Glad to hear their government is being more sensitive to their needs. We hope to visit the Azores next time we visit Madeira. Between mainland Portugal, Madeira and the Azores, it seems Portugal spans the gamut of lifestyle opportunities.

It really is great news. And we will be jealous of your Azores trip!

Just arrived from Lisbon. Visited Belem, Sintra and Cascais. Loved it. Nice weather at 15C every day. Way better than our Canadian -15C. Like the video. Informative but would change the background music.

Bear in mind that Canadian housing is likely to have central heating, and not concrete walls and stone floors where the water comes up through the floor with the humidity, during winter, as is the case in many traditional Portugal homes

Background music during the narrative is not really needed. Hard to follow what’s being said. Otherwise, nice.

Very beautiful country. I really hope they will update the tax treaty with the U.S. to clearly define the treatment of Roth IRAs (which are tax-free in the U.S.).
@ItllBeFun5 күн бұрын
They don't have a Roth style savings vehicle here in Portugal, which is why it isn't acknowledged.

If you are referring to whom I think, it seems like they just have other priorities.

Absolutely. We each have different needs and wants. That is what makes everything more interesting.

I agree with you. Just not a fan of the food.

That's too bad. We truly have found wonderful food no matter where we live. It's like a gift.
@christobar7 күн бұрын
Agreed, but in my case I have a good allergy and I don’t like seafood. However there is other excellent food and other ethnic foods to choose from in the cities.

A lovely video showing some very pretty parts of Portugal and there are many more. But I don't understand why all these videos perpetuate the ridiculous 300 days of sunshine myth. Maybe it is so in Madeira, I don't know. But I so far have not found anywhere in mainland even remotely close to this, after 6yrs here in a variety of areas. It is only fair to your watchers to present a REAL picture, because so many move here with these false expectations, wasting their money, before moving elsewhere, unable to handle the conditions, especially when combined with the damp cold housing.
