Great video as always👍🍷 Here in Spain we also see many old abandoned houses with new buildings constructed next to them. I was told by the locals that this happens alot because usually 3,4,5 sons/daughters inherited the house and between them they never reach an agreement to either sell it or fix it up. By the way, here in Spain we are still having 37-39 degrees every day, that´s in the bottom half of Spain, and it looks to continue like this for the next week or so... Agree it is like it every year ,same in southern spain ,the north is always drastically cooler ,be great to see the more southern and mid spanish coasts there is such long stretches of Costas all the way up to the north strangely never seen much on you tube Chanel's though ,hope mark recovers soon

The stone pavements in patterns are called calçada. They do get polished by people walking on them and they are even more slippy when it rains. There are a lot of oranges grown in the Algarve but in the winter they fill the machines with Pomegranates instead of oranges. It was an octopus. The abandoned property thing is mostly due to Portuguese inheritance law, so basically a house gets split between the kids, and then their kids etc: So there can be multiple people who own a share. People often immigrate or there is a dispute about selling or not selling and the value is in the land not really the house so no one maintains them. Most of the old houses do not have the conditions we are used to now and its cheaper to knock them down and build something new rather than try to refurbish them.

I asked in a Spanish store selling e-scooters why they did not have any with seats for sale, the gentleman replied because of the law. If it has a seat it is a different class of transport for which has to be registered/tax and insured in order to be legal on roads/cycle lanes.

Ice cubes wrapped in a tissue and hold over the mosquito bites works better than all the creams that they sell for insect bites. Believe me as over the years I have used this method to stop the itching.

Great video as usual. When my husband and me were stationed in Puerto Rico we knew the new arrivals by their white legs and and scratched mosquito bites. Avon skin so soft helps stop bites and not so smelly as deet.

You pair are bloody great folks,,,, what sort of scoots have you got and have they been reliable, thinking of making a purchase before we set off, we use them all the time in the big citys in Spain and they have been Brilliant, we normaily travel with a honda pcx 125 on the back of our motorhome and it fantastic,, but we have always loved the little electric scoots,, keep those flyscreens shut 24/7, we have a couple of maXair fans fitted they are a must and we couldnt be without them !!!, 12v so use them all the time !!!. keep making us laugh your doing a cracking job folks lolol.

Got to get your monies worth Lisa. The shoes I’ve been wearing today I’ve had for 9 yrs lol. Just thrown some trainers out I’ve had four years (the soles fell off one of them - sad day), yes I had previously glued them together and got another few months out of them too. What can I say, I’m a Yorkshire man.

I've got 6 sons and a daughter one of my twins is just like Mark, the other twin buys clothes and shoes every week ( he's got loads) and Still buys more. He's moving out soon and says he's gonna have a sort out. His girlfriend has said she has 80 pairs of footwear and 16 makeup palettes, young uns these days. I'm an Avon rep and have told her if she's opened any she will have to keep an eye on the dates. Xx Awwww poor Mark hope he's ok xx
