Let your fear be muted by excitement and anticipation of what is about to come. It will start with lessening symptoms that you dismiss as coincidence, followed by increasingly hard to deny improvements, then followed by a seemingly miraculous complete healing. Have you guys tried calling your U.S. Senators' offices and asking to speak with constituent services? Being famous might help get your call returned, and it seems to me that government funding of the research needed to develop the therapies that Frances needs could be very helpful. I donated to the GoFundMe (and my kids donated from their allowance), but maybe government funding could be more effective?

There is good evidence that CBD can be extremely helpful in refractory cases of childhood seizures. I hope you took her off of that anti-seizure med that caused suicidal ideation. See if your neurologist (or a different, more open-minded neurologist) would consider CBD for her; it could work, is not addictive, treats pain, etc etc. -- BTW I am a retired M.D. (ObGyn)

Their plight is noble and very tragic if a few tests done can prevent future children from having to live with these diseases then at least something GOOD can come out of it. My comment wasn't to them personally. Which is pretty plain to see. I wish them all the best. And those who can be tested should get tested it's the only responsible for anyone to have a child. If they care. Of course not every disease is known.

It could have just been a spontaneous mutation during gametogenesis or mitosis of the first embryonic cells. In that case it is impossible to know it beforehand and it is absolutely not unlikely that it happened here.

@@japan1001ify that's possible. It's still a good idea to get tested for everything that can be tested before having kids. We all carry some mutated genetic disease of some sort whether it's mental or physical.
