In this video, Adam fixes a Porzak Golf Subscribers leg motion with a simple tip, keeping the leg in cement. As you can see in the video, our student shoots his legs which leaves the upper behind, leading to thin and chunk shots. It is very important to maintain a good sequence in the downswing to promote compression.

I deleted everything I had saved when I saw Porzak golf. My playing partners last Saturday ask who I got lessons from. Each individually said what a beautiful swing I had. So crisp and repetitive. Back in the 80s , the trail pocket was called “the money pocket”because the closer your hands were to that pocket, the more money you would make. I loved the visual of holding the back knee until the hands were passing.

Thanks for the great tip on the pant leg lag. (?pant lag, maybe?). I struggled with my kinetic chain sequencing last sim session and didn't know what was wrong, despite really focusing on "both cheeks touching the wall.". However, I can intuit now that the back cheek was coming off the wall too early. I think in a past video you also described it as "don't let your right pocket beat your hands to the ball.". Great mental cues and body feel visualizations, which can help w range work as well as trying to get the wheels back on mid-round. Come to Nova Scotia, Canada!

This drill is exactly what I needed, so many instructors keep telling me to start the downswing with the lower body, when I do that it shoots my trail knee forward too early and I snap hook it every time

I've been working on keeping my trail foot planted and trail hip from going towards the ball--it has really helped eliminate my heel contact. Should I be worried it will reduce my distance by not getting through the shot or come with any other negatives?

Well for some players this could work. For other to keep right leg down will course players to hang back

We are coaching the player in front of us and what they need to feel in order to cover the ball and get their upper body to their lead side. I would challenge you here though, as lateral movement that shoots the hips forward will drop the upper body back due to the spine angle being perpendicular to the player’s belt line. Pushing off your trail foot laterally will not help you, but pushing off the trail foot to rotate your lead hip back, therefore, getting your trail shoulder to cover the ball would.
