Set in the 1980s in New York City, Pose is a dance musical that explores the juxtaposition of different segments of society in New York, including the ball culture world. The series stars Evan Peters, Kate Mara, James Van Der Beek, Mj Rodriguez, Dominique Jackson, Billy Porter, Indya Moore, Ryan Jamaal Swain, Charlayne Woodard, Dyllón Burnside, Hailie Sahar, Angelica Ross and Angel Bismark Curiel.

POSE is so special. Back in the 90's when I discovered Paris is Burning, I watched it over and over. It was like being transported to another world and the gay and drag balls were happening on some distant planet. I binge watched the first season on Netflix and once I started I couldn't stop, much to the chagrin of my husband. I love this show, I love the stories, I love the realness. Sometimes it is so painful to watch but I'm grateful for the opportunity and the experience. I find myself yelling at the tv and I'm rooting for all of the characters. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for opening this world to a new generation.
