With the reveal it was gonna be based on 2006 I thought this would be apples biggest boom. But surprisingly this has became my favourite apple film. The reason is 1. Good characters (because there not like the assholes in 2006) 2. Good effects (besides that wave why can’t you just use sink by simulation) 3. Apple Making the sets himself (very impressed) and 4. The story. The story is quite simple the S.S Poseidon is on a New Years voyage when it gets hit by a rogue wave. Charlie (a survivor) supports some of the people who give him the offer of coming with him to escape the ship. Pretty simple. The best part is how it isn’t a lot like the 2006 movie of the same name. Charlie of course doesn’t think that he should be the only survivor like Dylan. No he supports there decision and let’s them come. The reason he didn’t give a speech to the others because he knew they were gonna listen to the captain and thought it would be a waste of time because none of them would come anyway. So great movie 9/10 that one lost point goes to the wave JUST USE SIMULATION!
