Thank you Daniel, it was a real dash to Spain and back and not for the feint hearted. We covered a lot of ground and would have preferred to have 6 to 8 weeks to cover what we did on this tour. However, we only had this 24 day window to do it or not do it at all. 😃👍🏻🚐💙 Trev

Looked a good swift return through France Trev. Some nice stop overs and good Aires. I think we might take four stops although I suppose it will depend on how we progress and it’s great that you can book on the day for places like Camping Car Park. St Quentin looks beautiful. That Basillica is stunning. Hope you guys have a brilliant weekend 👍👍

The great thing about France is that there are so many choices of places to stop. You can take as long as you need and create the ideal journey that suits you. We have always said that nothing is set in stone and if we need to make adjustments along the way that’s fine. We loved Saint Quentin again this time. It was so beautiful in the Basilica although the building outside is not as impressive as some. The inside makes up for it with centuries of history 🙂👍🏻🚐💙 Trev

Ok the food looks amazing. I'll have some of the shrimp and little bit of eclair please 😄Such a charming little town. I love the painted bear. 4 hours free. Is that like our rest areas over here? That's what it kind of looks like. We have some that limit to 4 hours then we gotta get moving. But many are overnight free. Course no electric hookups. Depends on the state. They're all different. Looks like a fun little carnival going on. What a beautiful basilica. Ah so it looks like it's more like those rest type areas that we have a few of that charge. It's almost like a quick stop campground on the main highway/interstate. We don't have a lot of those yet. Wow that is a lot of circling around and lining up and waiting. I noticed you said lpg check. What is the point of that? What a great adventure this was. Can't wait to see what you do next.
@PoshcatsCamping8 ай бұрын
Haha…. It’s the law that if you have an eclair you must eat it all, there’s no such thing as a little bit of eclair 😂😂😂 As you know from your tours, you never really know what to expect even when you have something planned, it always seems different 🚐 🙂 The rest areas in France are amazing and easy to find wherever you go. We just can’t wait to do another long tour. It’s just so enjoyable in our little van. Thanks again so much for your support with our videos. It means a lot to us 👍🏻🚐🍺💙 Oh and the LPG gas check is to make sure it is isolated before you enter the long tunnel on the train. 👍🏻 Trev n Sue

Really interesting video. A couple of questions from a motorhome newby. 1/ when entering france did you have to prove where you were going or staying or for how long. 2/ i flew into Gibraltar in feb and had to jump through hoops to get in to spain. I had to show a return flight, proof of accommodation ect. The spanish actually refused quite a few off our flight entry until they could show proof. So the question is. Getting out of spain obviously you had to have your passport stamped. But to get back in. Did you have to show proof. Sorry for long questions. My wife and i are hoping to enter spain through Santander and travel around for 6 weeks or so.
@PoshcatsCamping5 ай бұрын
Hi, we have used Eurotunnel Le Shuttle several times and never been asked where we are going and for how long when passing through French Passport control. When we entered Gibraltar on foot from Spain, we had our passports stamped and returned the same day. There were no problems at all. We noticed a father and son who lived on Gibraltar arguing with officials about the number of times they had been back and forth. I think they were suspicious of their activities. But we have never experienced any problems 😃👍🏻🚐 Trev

Hi guys. Enjoying this trip but you didn't show us the Hôtel-Dieu (Hospices de Beaune). Recognized by its colorful, geometric-patterned tile roof, this 15th-century former hospital is now the Hôtel-Dieu Museum. The roof is amazing. Hope you did see it.
@PoshcatsCamping8 ай бұрын
The problem we had was that some of the places were closed and we only had a few hours in Beaune. I know we will go back there again so we will definitely look out for it. Thanks for bringing it to our attention 👍🏻😃💙🚐 Trev n Sue

Loved your latest trip. I notice that you drive long hours between stops. I find fours hours driving is enough for me. What would you say your average driving time is. Looking forward to your next trip.
@PoshcatsCamping8 ай бұрын
Long drives are not as easy now we are older. We are of course restricted by the needs of our dogs and we tend to do 2 hours without a break, then take them outside and stretch our legs. Even a 10 or 15 minute break allows us to continue our journey for another couple of hours. In France it’s easy as there’s lots of Aires and they have green space for walking and relaxing 🙂. Take care and thank you for your comments 👍🏻🚐 Trev n Sue

Hi are the dogs in cages when you’re travelling?
@PoshcatsCamping8 ай бұрын
Yes, we have a folding crate that goes on the floor of the van near the entrance. Both dogs are able to lay down in the crate and we tend to drive no more than 2 hours without a break for walkies and a drink 😀 We are very lucky, they travel very well and are excited when we start preparing the van to travel 👍🏻🚐💙 Trev
