They are employees. They get paid to speak the script of the day. They aren't allowed the luxury of having their own opinions, and they certainly can't air them on TV. Every time I watch stuff like this, if it goes against the narrative, the guests basically get gaslighted by the hosts, in an effort to reasonably discredit them, to train the audience how to think (and refuse to follow). I don't really like Posie Parker, but I feel bad for her in situations like this, because she walked in there with a target on her back, and probably didn't even realise until they ambushed her. They intentionally set her up and ganged up on her, to paint her as an unreasonable bigot etc.

Kellie wasn’t given the chance to properly explain. I absolutely agree with her. There is no way someone should be able to just say they’re a woman. I was in hospital next to a man in a wig in a female ward and I was very uncomfortable but felt unable to voice that.

They didn't even acknowledge her point about a woman being forced to be patted down/cavity searched by a man "identifying" as a woman because we are more concerned about hurting his feelings than the woman's legal rights to request to have an adult human female conduct the search. How horrific. Imagine having to watch your young daughter go through that violation, say at a random check coming back from an international flight. When I was 22, coming back from Italy, my passport was placed in a red folder and I was escorted to a room for a random check. I saw a woman being taken individually into private rooms by people wearing medical jackets and gloves. The room spun around and I almost fainted. I was not searched, but the fear was traumatizing enough at the time. I survived 9/11 a couple of years so I do realize there are worst things that can happen, but I remember the confusion of what they were going to do to me. The thought of young women having to go through that AND be told that the man doing the cavity search IS a woman and that she cannot discriminate by resisting is beyond disgusting, appalling, and is legalized rape. Their "feelings" are NOT more valuable than a woman's safety.
