Thanks for your comment! We reached Sorrento by car, then took the ferry to Positano. Ferry tickets can be purchased online or just before boarding (we highly recommend to purchase online the day before). Not sure about the train connection, we heard trains are good and affordable. Thanks.

Great video. I had a question we are going to Sorrento via Naples in August and we were going on private car from Naples to Sorrento however coming back to our flight we were thinking of taking the ferry from Sorrento to Naples however with 1 carry on and 1 tote each we do not know how easy it is to walk from Sorrento city center to the port of Sorrento then arrive in Naples then take a taxi from the port of Naples to Naples city center where the hotel is which is by the archeological museum. If the cost of the private driver is 110 Euros is that a better deal than doing all that cost wise and inconvenience? Thx in advance

No, I don't think so. I'd rather recommend you spend a night in Positano (or another nearby town), or go for a day trip carrying a light backpack only (like we did). Thanks.
