😑 I know that its for tourism, its amazing and all, but as Italian I think that is way too much. I really hope that the hotel crew treats you like a damn god or it will really makes me angry. If they make people pay that much, then they must have an excellent service. There's no way we Italians can accept other conditions. 😤

@@gunmustik6656 I'm not from Positano. But generally you have to avoid those that are called "tourist traps". Where you see lots of tourists, avoid that.

We stayed in the beautiful small town of conca dei marini and went to positano for a day. We loved being with the locals and we had an amazing 3 bedroom villa overlooking the ocean, worth it for only like $120 a night

Just stayed in Sorrento with a breathtaking view for less than $200 a night. Also took the boat into Positano for the day. I totally agree with your strategy and loved our experience as well.

@@ThePricipleOfParsimony To the best of my recollection Le Sirenuse does not have an elevator that opens up to the beach. There are other hotels built lower on the cliff like terrain that have elevators onto the beach. By far this is one of the most gracious hotels I have ever stayed in. Go in October/November when the crowds have thinned out.

Don’t bother. Been to la Sireneuse, had lunch by the pool overlooking the church (which is NOT “one of the most beautiful tiled-roof churches in the world”… clearly this guy has not been to Florence or Budapest or Vienna or Moscow), and that was enough. Positano is nice but only interesting for about two hours and then you can move on. Not worth an overnight…guys, it’s not that pretty and it’s packed with obnoxious tourists taking selfies.Just because the houses seem to be clinging to the hillside doesn’t mean they are individually beautiful houses. Hotel is beautiful but $1000/nt can be better spent elsewhere…like feeding the hungry and giving 20 homeless people a safe place to sleep.

I see a room very regular,a breakfast buffet that at least in video doesn't show anything extraordinary, the wonderfull and historic pool is small and narrow(of course,more that enough for a few guests at that price) and you will get a bout ride. Now I really need a second video to find out at least one reason for that price.
