Good day! Thank you for the videos in the first place. I would like to ask 2 questions. If the estimated position that we find after setting up the LOP is not aligned with our position, what do we do? The second questions is: If our Radar Overlay is not aligned with the coast, how can we fix it? Does that mean that the GPS needs fixing? Thank you so much again! All the best!

Hello Team Furuno and Mr. Morten, Where can you recalculate own ship's position to a position in a different datum?
@furunomaritimetraining3 жыл бұрын
Hi Thank you so much for writing to us and sorry for the late reply. To answer your question. Under the offset button in the position information window, there is a WGS 84 button, if you press this, it opens a menu where you can calculate to a different datum. I hope my answer could help you. Take care of yourself, and have a great day Kind regards Morten

Sir how to set position discrepancy alarm in alarm. Eg ecdis will give alarm if i set difference between gps 1 and gps 2 is 0.1 nm. Like that how do i set up that alarm
@furunomaritimetraining8 ай бұрын
Hi Thank you for writing. A very good question. It is not something you have operator access to setup. So, you need to have a Furuno tech onboard to set it up. Take care. Kind regards

hello Mrmorten kindly how i can change my vessel name at chart report
@furunomaritimetraining4 жыл бұрын
Hi Ahmad Thank you so much for writing to us, and for following our videos. The name has to be input in the technician menu. So next time you have service from furuno onboard then ask the service tech to do it. Take care Kind Regards Morten
