Since I've started taking siege more seriously, I started questioning what was causing me to be "trash" and our teams ALWAYS losing and I worked it out that I, 1. Didn't understand callouts or wasn't using callouts 2. Wasn't aware of my own positioning, standing in an open window or something silly for example 3. Just map knowledge, understanding possible soft walls in particular that an attacker could instantly and commonly open and kill me or vice versa If you're feeling like you're laking when you get killed or lose a round just think about what happened to get you killed or what mistake your team made to cause the loss

Man said "do a late flank if possible" , yet when I go on a flank on any map at the last 40 to 30 Seconds by crouch walking and someone be laying prone in a hallway.

Flanking late is my bread and butter. Usually when that happens it's because they had a pre placed drone and I got busted in 4k, or that guy was expecting the late flank because bandit just disappeared off site. I try to put off crouch walking as long as possible so I give them less time to realize I suddenly am not on site anymore. Very rarely will people just be prone in a random hallway for no reason

You know these are great tips But i have another great strategy Be unpredictable People will not expect if u are upstairs while your objective is on ground level in defence But keep in mind you have to be able to get back to the objective in time because otherwise they will just play the objective and win This strat works for me against experienced players I am not good at the game so don’t expect this to work all the time

That's good advice! To add to it, Fuze is a great character for that exact thing. Get above them, and then shoot his grenades thru the floor/ceiling

I'd say I'm a rather average player, I consistently get over 5 kills in unranked. I used to 1v1 my very inexperienced sister, yet she somehow won pretty often because of how unpredictable she was.

this was def dope. one tip id add with positioning that's been helping me a lot is when you see the skull from a teammate dying, start to use that map knowledge to think of common peek spots in that area. It may ay be common sense but i just started doing it and haven't seen it mentioned in vids. Hope it helps somebody lol Ex. Your teammate goes down right at the window on Oregon Look out for rotation holes on that main wall and someone peeking behind the bunkbed if you have no idea where they killed your teammate from.

Thx for the tips I’m hardstuck mid silver and we lose like 4 games before winning 1. I try to position myself in every game I play, I try to take advantage of the environment around me to give me an advantage in gunfights. Honestly, I just have to improve my gunfight skill at far ranges and teamplay then I can get a higher rank.

@@frostedwrld4914 controlling recoil is a must I'd say that's my number 1 tip if you can't aim in a shooter then what's the point? 2. Practice flicking, whenever you roam or hold site you're going to be needing to be flicking at entrances, possible flanks etc. Number 3 tip is actually use your drone. I thought it was cap, vision is a utility that's sometimes over exaggerated but you can clear a room without even needing to go in it's literally perfect and as soon as I started to utilise these tips I got into gold quick and before I knew it I was in plat.

I agree with what you say. Normally Ranked almost pushes the berserk button which uses what you said. In a deficit I make it known to teammates that we are lacking one man I'll go harass them. All I do is try to play off teammates; sometimes I end up not being able to play off of them.

My favorite roamer is oryx. The most freedom of movement, can make a lot of rotates, great guns, sound alarm, I know is not for every map but in places like Oregon or chalet is amazing

I’m not a great shooter but positioning is the best thing you can do to rank up and beat players that have better aim. I play with diamond 1-2 players that are way better than me at shooting but it’s all about strategy and positions.

I’d like to see that video too but a quick rundown, a support player is someone who supports main utility so if you have a thermite, you’d pick someone like twitch kali or buck to help get the wall, or if you have a kaid on defence you’d go mute or moz to help combat twitch drones, support also means helping enforce positions, for example if you’re playing rafters on clubhouse a jäger ADS would be supporting that play
