Your channel has came up on my feed today. I am almost 29 weeks pregnant with my 3rd. You laboured like a champ. My whole labour with my second boy was 1.5hrs long and that was from start to finish it was the most craziest experience ever. I’m praying my next labour goes smoothly as I haemorrhaged after my 2nd and almost died as he was so quick xxx

@@hayleyemmax3328 I think first time round you just have no clue what's coming do you, or what to expect. I ended up having an emergency c section and my little boy was in neo then I had an infection it was horrible!!! So it's lovley watching people like yourself lucky enough to experience it the way we all probably dream about in our minds! What's it been like having another with Joel so young, I'd love mine close together x

It really does make all the difference when you’ve had a positive birth experience. Tbh we’ve only had 10 days at home so far, as Reuben has caught bronchiolitis from Joel so we’ve been in hospital with Reuben since Sunday and he hasn’t seen Joel since then 😢 so I haven’t fully experienced looking after both of them by myself yet as Steve is also still on paternity leave. But I will definitely be doing some vlogs when Steve goes back to work xx

Awww congrats, I hope it all goes ok 🥰 My labour with my first baby was ages (for a first baby). It was 11 hours from the first contraction to actually having him. But about 4 hours in established labour xx

what are the contractions like? im 39 weeks people say period pains but to me thats like a dull ache but they look stronger?

They are stronger than period pains, for me it was a sharp sensation very low down in my cervix. But just remember, each contraction lasts for a minute, and then you get a few minutes break before the next one, so it’s not constant 🙏🏻 You can do it! X

ahhh thank you! Never normally this freckley, but during both my pregnancies it’s triggered something that’s made me super freckley haha 🤣 it goes away a lot afterwards. I didn’t really have anything at all tbh, as it happened so fast. I had one puff of gas and air but it makes me light headed and I’m not a fan, so I just cracked on without, the same as with Joel’s birth. But the water does take the edge off xx

Thank you ❤️ my first birth was during covid in 2020 so I was on my own till I was about 8cm and my husband could come in 😢 I’ll never fully be over that. I also had high blood pressure during labour so didn’t get in the pool. But all in all, for a first birth I was very lucky, it was about 11 hours and no complications other than the fact my son wouldn’t latch for 2 days 😂🤦🏼‍♀️ But my second birth was definitely the birth I wished for the first time around xx

I feel you on the childcare part. We are pregnant with #5, and it's pretty likely my older two will stay home for the home birth because asking my poor in laws to watch 4 kids under 7yrs old for more than a couple hours is a LOT. Also in laws live over an hour away, so there's that too lol.

Super late to this but congratulations babe. I went through this with my second but only stayed in hospital for an hour as the pain reduced then 20 mins after I got home I gave birth to my daughter in my bed! 🤣😭 luckily my other half was with me xx

I wish 3 in 10 always meant established labour lol. I have had uterine tachysystole with 2 of mine, which means by contractions are back to back with no break inbetween. The problem is I was only ever 1-2cm when I started having contractions like that so I was denied gas and air. My last labour after breaking my waters was 19 minutes from 3cm-delivering the placenta. Xx I'm having my 5th in just under 6 weeks xx
