Curious on how loud the Spark Live can get and if you think its giggable.

It does get pretty loud but I do feel the louder it gets you lose a little warmth in the tone. It still sounds great. I’ve used it with some guys I jam with and it held its own with a bass guitar and drums. I think it’s giggable do a smaller setting (coffee house, small bar, house party). If you’re playing somewhere with a house PA, you can connect to it which is perfect! I love how many different tones there are!

would you recommend spark positive grid live for home use as well? how does it behaves in low volumes? i have a yamaha thr10 but im considering of buying a second amp (in case im playing with another person or i need a battery) and i prefer it to be more versatile? both for small gigs and home practice. this looks what im looking for especially having in mind how little space it takes, but im a bit worried its profile is more suitable for professional musicians and not for people like me that will use it outdoors twice a year. Do you thing it's gonna be a waste in a case like this?

Honestly, this amp has turned into the one I use the most over all of the other amps I have around the house. It does work pretty well at low volumes, some of the distortion can be a little dirtier than when you use it at volume, but that’s not unlike other amps I’ve used. Your use case basically describes how I’ve been using Spark LIVE. Mostly practice at home, jamming with others, and a few house parties with friends. It’s been great and versitile. Nice not having to move around multiple amps for vocals and my guitar. We even ran a keyboard into channel 3 and it worked great. I did pair it up with the Spark X control (I’ll do a review later), and it’s also great. Hope that helps, feel free to let me know if you have other questions.

@@GearAdrift-band thank you very much. I'll probably order it soon enough. They've just delivered them in my country. You've been really helpful 😊 I'll look for notifications when the mentioned review is ready.

So it can be charged and played. Also you can have a battery ? Is the battery an extension of time or do you have to have that battery for it to work?

Normal operation is just plugin power and play. Battery is completely optional and removable, but it is nice to have. I like using mine with the battery outdoors or at band practice when I just want to play with as little setup as possible. Hope that helps!

I’m torn btwn the Spark Live & the Spark 2 🤔
@GearAdrift-bandАй бұрын
I just received the Spark 2. It’s a great little practice amp. Plenty loud and having the looper is nice. The Spark Live is great for jamming with others or having the ability to use multiple channels. Can basically have two people jam with the one amp if needed.

Hello, I noticed that you also have a fender mustang gtx100 and in your opinion, which one do you think is better, in comparison with the spark live?

As a straight guitar amp, I probably like the fender a bit more. I like the foot switch that comes with it and the fact it has a looper. That said, I like that the Spark allows me to plug in a microphone or second instrument if I’m jamming with a buddy. I also favor the Spark app. I like the fact you can easily access backing tracks from the app. The app actually provides some basic chord outlines for backing tracks which is nice. Since the Spark Live arrived, I haven’t really used the Fender; I tend to gravitate right to the Spark. Hope that helps!

Is the battery included?

Battery is not included. I did buy the battery. I used it at a jam session this week for over 3hours and barely made a dent in the available charge. Makes setup super quick and easy
